I graduated with First Class Honours in Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology (specialization in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Subsequently, I conducted my PhD research under the supervision of Associate Professor Matthew Call and Dr. Melissa Call at the Structural Biology Division, The Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. My PhD thesis was on understanding the spatial organisation of subunits of the T-cell receptor complex. In 2017, I moved to Singapore to undertake a one-year Postdoctoral training at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, researching on cholesterol transfer mechanisms at the Membrane Contact Sites with Assistant Professor Yasunori Saheki. In May 2018, I joined the lab of Professor Pedro Carvalho in Oxford, where I have been studying mechanisms of protein quality control in mammalian cells.
